Job Description
Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the Screener is responsible for ensuring the following by performing work using instructions and performing any combination of the following duties:
- Reads work orders and follows oral instructions.
- All positions have some repetitive motion.
- The ability to be flexible and move where needed daily.
- Use spline and rolled screen for insertion into an assembled screen frame for final finished product.
- Cleans work area and equipment using broom, rags and cleaning compounds.
Qualifications & Experience
Basic skills include but are not limited to:
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work with others collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred
- Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience
- Manufacturing experience in the Window/ Door manufacturing arena
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and organized (5S) work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of the dominant arm, wrist, and shoulder.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands at arm’s length with a break every 2 hours.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required, including work hours as business demands dictate.
