Job Summary
The Shore Excursion Sales Agent serves as a destination expert and brand ambassador, providing world-class, high-touch service to Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection guests and travel agents. This role ensures that inquiries regarding luxury shore excursions, including bespoke and private experiences, are handled with professionalism and personalized care.
Essential Functions
- Deliver a polished, knowledgeable, and personalized experience to guests and travel agents inquiring about shore excursions, reflecting the Ritz-Carlton commitment to luxury.
- Proactively recommend tailored excursions, enhancing each guest's journey with curated experiences.
- Assist guests in navigating and utilizing the MyYacht Portal (MYP) for excursion details and bookings.
- Create and manage guest requests in Salesforce, ensuring unresolved inquiries are documented and assigned appropriately for follow-up.
- Process payments for Pre-Designed Private Excursions, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Log guest requests and discrepancies in Smartsheet, ensuring seamless tracking and resolution.
- Follow up promptly with guests or travel agents, providing courteous updates on the status of their requests.
- Stay informed about inventory, exclusive tours, and updates shared by senior team members to offer the latest and most accurate recommendations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and senior staff to address escalations and support continuous service improvements.
- Shadow senior team members to learn communication protocols with Tour Operators and manage inventory updates, to expand expertise over time.
