What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at The River Place?
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to event attendees
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging furniture, setting up equipment, and decorating
- Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Manage crowd control and assist with directing attendees
- Assist with event logistics, such as parking coordination and crowd management
Requirements:
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations or unruly attendees
- Experience in theater, events management, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent guest services and customer service skills
- Hospitality experience is a plus
- Attention to details; specifically in cleaning and setup tasks
- Excellent time management and punctuality to fulfill event tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
