Job Summary:
The River Source is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. As the DON, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care to our patients, lead and manage nursing staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive improvements in clinical practices. You will collaborate with the medical and administrative teams to develop policies and procedures, monitor patient outcomes, and foster a positive, compassionate environment for both staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Oversee patient care plans and collaborate with other departments.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
- Participate in training, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
- Monitor patient outcomes and take action to improve care quality.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to enhance patient care and facility operations.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current state license.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing: require at least a Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN). A Master's in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in nursing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
