The Riverdale Press is a Pulitzer Prize-winning community newspaper that covers the Northwest Bronx in New York City, with hard-hitting news stories and gracefully written features. We are actively seeking a motivated, energetic and creative reporter to join our dynamic (and awesome) team! This entry-level breaking news, politics, crime and general assignment position offers a unique experience to learn from some of the best in the business. Historically, reporters who have launched their career with us now work in the newsrooms of The New York Times, the New York Daily News, the New York Post, The Washington Post, USA Today, CNN, Adweek, NBC News, among others. We look for excellent writers who are extremely eager to learn, ready to enhance their skills, to become well-established and respected reporters in our industry.
We operate a hybrid newsroom, requiring only three typical days in-office, but additional days may be required based on assignments.
