Riverside School Seeks Middle School Math Teacher To begin 2025-2026 school year The Riverside School is an independent day school in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are a PreK through grade 8 school of 120 students. Our focus is on strong, traditional academics with curricular and co-curricular programs that focus on leadership and a sense of community. The Riverside School is, in itself, a strong community with dedicated students, parents, and faculty. We are located in the scenic and rural Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Our mission is to develop patient leaders, active learners, and engaged citizens in a supportive community. We try to consider that mission in everything we do. We strive to have high academic standards in an informal, relaxed atmosphere while embracing a range of learning abilities and styles. We have small classes (usually no more than 12, often smaller), engaged families, and warm, welcoming staff. This is a happy place to work with small classes and engaged students. This Math position is for an educator who understands the middle school child and thrives in a collaborative environment. To make this a full-time position, we may need to add an elementary section, some interventions, or other duties depending on the applicant’s strengths and passions (PE, art, music, etc.). We offer competitive salaries. Because community is so important to us, we cover 100% of the parent tuition obligation for children of full-time faculty (pending space and acceptance, of course).
