What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle Instructor position at THE RIVIERA CLUB?
The Riviera Club in Indianapolis is looking to hire nationally-certified group fitness instructors. Instructors will be responsible and required to work 2 hours per week to start, with additional opportunities to sub. Each Independent Contractor is compensated $25-$45 per session, based on attendance. This is a great opportunity for experienced instructors to apply their trade and make a difference in our family-friendly community. We are currently in need of a Cycle or Spin Instructor for Saturday mornings. We will have opportunity for a second class during the week during the day or in the evening.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Design and instruct group fitness classes that are motivating, fun, and inclusive to participants of all fitness levels
2) Ensure the safety of all class participants
3) Maintain professional appearance and proper fitness attire
4) Record class attendance and submit to the Group Fitness Manager after each class
Qualifications:
1) Current group fitness certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or NSCA. Or a Cycling cert
2) CPR/AED certification required
3) At least six months experience teaching group fitness classes
Salary : $25 - $45
