ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Tennis Concierge, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional tennis experience for our members and guests. You will be responsible for providing personalized service, assisting with court reservations, and coordinating tennis activities and events. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our tennis program. The Tennis Concierge position is part-time or on-call only.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about tennis facilities, programs, and services.
- Assist with court reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in scheduling and managing court availability.
- Coordinate tennis activities, including clinics, tournaments, and social events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tennis facilities, including courts, equipment, and common areas.
- Assist with equipment rentals, sales, and repairs, providing guidance and recommendations to members as needed.
- Monitor court usage and enforce club policies and rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable tennis experience for all participants.
- Assist tennis professionals with lesson scheduling, player registration, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide support during tennis events and tournaments, including set-up, registration, and player assistance.
- Respond to member inquiries, feedback, and requests in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with the tennis department and other club departments to promote tennis programs and activities and enhance the overall member experience.
- Cover the tennis kiosk in the lower tennis, to ensure we are meeting member and guests needs.
- All other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Events, Director of Tennis, and Assistant Tennis Director within a reasonable scope of the position and department.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Basic knowledge of tennis fundamentals and terminology, with a passion for the sport.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or sports environment.
GROOMING
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per club standards.
Professional business attire or provided uniform must be worn while at work and on premises.
OTHER
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
