Job Overview
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our residential properties. This includes tasks such as:
- Electrical and plumbing system maintenance and repair.
- HVAC system maintenance and repair.
- Appliance maintenance and repair.
- Water irrigation system maintenance and repair.
- Maintenance of stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, tile, carpet, and flooring.
- Roofing, gutters, and fasteners maintenance and repair.
- Lighting fixture maintenance and repair.
- Ceiling fan and light fixture maintenance and repair.
- Shutters, blinds, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors maintenance and repair.
- Door locks, P.O. boxes, and lock maintenance and repair.
- Security system maintenance and repair.
- Pool area maintenance and repair.
The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 2 years of experience in maintenance property management. They will also need to have EPA Universal Certification and CPO Certification (preferred). Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairs.
