Overview : The Senior Investor Relations Manager is a vital role focused on managing the interactions and reporting for RMR Residential's Private Fund Vehicles. This position involves delivering comprehensive quarterly reports, effective communication, and insightful analysis to our investors. Additionally, the Senior Manager will play a key role in marketing strategies directed at potential investors, including responding to RFPs and due diligence requests, as well as facilitating the onboarding of new investors into upcoming fund vehicles. Collaboration with various teams, including asset management, acquisitions, capital markets, and fund accounting, is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the preparation of quarterly reporting packages for fund investors, including detailed quarterly reports, partner capital statements, and property-level analytics across multiple fund vehicles.
- Oversee the coordination of RFPs and due diligence questionnaires aimed at prospective investors.
- Thoroughly review capital call and distribution notices.
- Contribute to the quarterly revaluation process of all RMR Residential properties, ensuring accurate flow of valuations through deal-level waterfalls and appropriate allocation of appreciation changes to funds.
- Address ad-hoc investor inquiries by providing qualitative responses, cash flow projections, fund models, and valuation analyses.
- Manage the completion of quarterly questionnaires for consultants and investors.
- Assist in effective fund-level cash management activities.
- Maintain expert knowledge of fund partnership agreements, fund structures, waterfalls, and complex promote / carried interest mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement relevant enhancements.
- Stay abreast of property transactions influencing fund operations, including acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, refinances, and loan modifications.
