Job Description:We are seeking a certified Therapeutic Yoga Instructor to join our compassionate team of wellness professionals as a 1099 employee. The ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching various yoga styles and passionate about promoting relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional client care and tailoring each session to the client’s individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their physical and emotional needs.
- Design and lead therapeutic yoga sessions tailored to individual or group needs.
- Incorporate mindfulness and meditation practices into yoga sessions as appropriate.
- Monitor client progress and provide recommendations for home practice or follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming yoga space, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with other wellness practitioners to provide holistic care.
- Stay updated on new therapeutic yoga techniques and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Certified Yoga Teacher with a focus on therapeutic yoga (RYT 200 or higher preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of yoga anatomy and modifications for various conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Passion for holistic health and well-being.
- Must have active individual malpractice insurance.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and dedication, with a willingness to contribute to the successful opening and growth of a new center.
