**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Cashier to join our VERY busy Deli. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, be able to multi-task, process transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive experience for our guests.
**Duties:**
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately using TOAST POS and handling incoming phone calls and online orders.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide product information.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area and dining room.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience
- Handle customer inquiries and catering questions, and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with stocking Chips, cookies, coffee, Grab and Go options, drinks, and the deli case while maintaining inventory levels throughout the shift.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in restaurant or bar service.
- Weekend availability is a must.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for retail transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers
- MULTITASKING at its finest.
- Knowledge of TOAST systems, Doordash, Uber Eats and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
