The Leasing Consultant serves as the community's sales representative, responsible for engaging with prospective residents, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a seamless leasing experience. This role plays a key part in maintaining occupancy goals while enhancing the overall resident experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing & Sales:
- Respond promptly to phone and email leads with the goal of converting inquiries into property tours.
- Identify prospective residents' wants and needs and provide tailored apartment home solutions.
- Conduct engaging property tours, showcasing the community's features and amenities.
- Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, ensuring a smooth and informative experience.
- Lease Administration & Occupancy Management:
- Ensure lease documentation is completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to achieving occupancy goals through proactive leasing and resident retention efforts.
- Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Generate interest in the community through local outreach, social media engagement, and event planning.
- Enhance the property's reputation by building positive relationships with residents and prospects.
- Property Presentation & Maintenance:
- Ensure the grounds, amenities, and office are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the care and upkeep of the property, enhancing curb appeal and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and create a welcoming environment for prospective residents.
Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends, to include Saturday 10-5 PM and Sunday 12-4 PM.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in leasing software and social media marketing.
- Experience in leasing or property management.
