Job Description: IT Solutions Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX (some work from home)
Essential Job Functions:

Design and Implement Solutions: Create and document complex enterprise solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with standards and planning for a smooth transition from the current state to the future state. May involve coordinating with distributed teams, testing, and deployment.

Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate across diverse teams and locations, navigating different personalities and team dynamics to accomplish tasks.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with IT application owners to identify and define business needs and technical requirements.

Technical Analysis: Conduct technical evaluations, including cost/benefit analysis, to ensure solutions align with company objectives.

Facilitate Design Discussions: Lead solution design meetings and participate in project teams to ensure design solutions are clearly understood and implemented.

Vendor and Contract Management: Work through complex contracts, including engaging new vendors and managing agreements such as MSAs and NDAs.

Project Management: Manage key variables such as time, money, and risk to achieve business goals. Risk management experience is a plus.

Technology Evaluation: Participate in the evaluation and planning of new technologies, and regularly review existing systems to recommend improvements.

Incident Resolution: Assist in incident resolution and problem analysis as needed.

Team Leadership: Manage individuals to maximize their potential, guiding them towards achieving business goals.
