The After-School Care Aide supports the mission of St. Raymond School by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students during after-school hours. The ideal candidate will supervise students, facilitate activities, and ensure their well-being while fostering a faith-filled and positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in grades TK-8th during after-school hours to ensure safety and proper behavior.
- Record attendance and ensure the safe dismissal of students to parents/guardians
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and quiet homework time.
- Provide support to students during snack times, assisting with clean-up and organization.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, and staff.
- Uphold the Catholic values and mission of the school in interactions and activities.
- Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe after-school care environment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification
- VIRTUS Certification
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
