Position Type: Part-Time
St. Augustine Catholic School is seeking a professional, motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our school. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our school office, ensuring smooth communication, efficient financial management, and excellent service to our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tuition payments, record financial transactions, and oversee the school’s finances.
- Process payroll and payment invoices in collaboration with the school’s off-site accountant.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and Gradelink for administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping and ensure all documents are organized and up to date.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for administrative and school events.
- Oversee and manage building contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
- Answer phones, take messages, and provide professional communication with parents, staff, and community members.
- Support the office with general administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- College degree required (AA or BA)
- Strong financial skills with proven experience in managing bills, invoices, and payroll.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other digital applications.
- Experience using Gradelink is preferred or a willingness to learn.
- Prior experience working in an office is required; experience in a school setting is desired but not mandatory.
- Must be a motivated self-starter with a welcoming personality to engage with all members of our school community.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with parents, staff, and students.

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
