Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate timekeeping for employees.
- Utilize POS systems to process transactions and manage sales data.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to optimize product availability.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
- Implement pricing strategies in accordance with company policies and market trends.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all areas of the store are clean and well-presented.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail math concepts for effective inventory management and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing and sales tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
