The Rose Establishment is a high volume downtown Salt Lake City restaurant, cafe and bakery. Availability: Saturday and Sunday availability is required, with potential for additional hours over time.
Responsibilities:
- Dial in espresso daily by accurately measuring dose, grind, and extraction time.
- Upsell specialty coffee beans with a genuine interest in each batch’s unique qualities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including weekly deep-cleaning tasks.
- Create a welcoming environment and build rapport with customers and the community.
- Quickly learn and implement new ideas and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Third Wave barista preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Latte art skills preferred, though training can be provided.
- High integrity with a strong attendance record.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high work standards.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Food Handler’s Permit required.
