Cafe Manager

The Rose Establishment, located in downtown Salt Lake City, is a bustling restaurant and cafe known for its attention to detail, exceptional ingredients, and dedication to quality. Qualifications and Expectations:

• Expertise in all aspects of third-wave coffee, with the ability to train and uphold high standards in the cafe.
• A keen eye for detail, from organizing the bar to perfecting the garnish on each drink.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with roasters, including researching and introducing new coffee offerings.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster a sense of community with customers while maintaining professionalism.
• Passion for sharing coffee knowledge through events, classes, and cuppings.
• A genuine desire to support the team and management, demonstrating honesty, clear communication, and a true team-player mindset.
• Must be 21

A Day in the Life: You arrive at The Rose Establishment to the scent of freshly baked pastries. The barista hands you a perfectly brewed espresso as you step out to set up the patio under the rising sun. Music plays softly on the speakers as you soak in the calm before the rush. The barista shares a sample of a new drink special, invigorating you for the day ahead. As your team arrives, you set them up for success. Familiar faces walk in, and you catch up on conversations you’ve been enjoying with regulars. Hours later, you clock out, grab a cookie, and relax on the vine-shaded patio while "Benny and the Jets" plays in the background. You think to yourself, "I’m so glad I applied for this role."

Our equitable pay model includes an 18% service fee, distributed across all departments, ensuring every team member earns a fair wage. This means you can expect an additional $1 to $2 per hour in tips.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 35 hours per week
• Shifts: 7:30 AM - 1 PM or 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Availability: At least one weekend shift. Saturday and Sunday preferred. 

Pay: $19.50/hour additional tips

Salary : $20
