Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Retirement and Benefits to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of programs that are vital to employees' well-being and financial future.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind our retirement benefits strategy, ensuring it not only aligns with our organizational goals but also fosters employee engagement and financial wellness. You'll leverage your deep expertise in health benefits management and retirement plan administration (including defined benefits, cash balance, and 401(k)) to develop and execute innovative solutions that make a real difference.
As a thought leader in your field, you'll have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of 10 HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. This is a hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA, offering a blend of in-office collaboration (3 days a week) and remote flexibility.
What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. (Master's degree or relevant certifications like CEBS, SPHR, CRPS, or CFP are a plus!)
- 10 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, with a significant focus on managing and optimizing retirement plans, particularly defined benefit pension plans.
- A comprehensive understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape, including ERISA, ACA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, and IRS/DOL regulations governing retirement and health plans.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful benefits strategies that drive employee satisfaction and financial security.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring a team.
