Roxy Bar is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to manage the service of the bar, lounge, room service and the front and back of house. You’ll be working the floor a lot, which also has a rock star perk: each night, you’ll hear live jazz from some of the industry greats.

Responsibilities include:

• Floor presence, ensuring service standards are consistent
• Training and evaluating team members in their roles
• Conducting effective pre-shifts
• Scheduling and payroll
• Inventory and purchasing
• Nightlife and Bar Service Oversight
• Building strong rapport with guests

Requirements:

• Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Computer savvy, familiarity of Resy and Spot On is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
• Able to work effectively with all department managers
• An interest in style, music, fashion, art, and/or or dining and nightlife (pertaining to NYC)
• Creative problem solver

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
