The Roxy Hotel is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to manage the service of the bar, lounge, room service and the front and back of the house. We are seeking a F&B Manager with a passion for Mixology and a strong knowledge of Wine and Spirits. You’ll be working the floor a lot, which also has a rock star perk: each night, you’ll hear live jazz from some of the industry greats.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of daily bar operations to ensure quality of beverages and food.
- Floor presence, ensuring service standards are consistent
- Training and evaluating team members in their roles
- Conducting effective pre-shifts
- Scheduling and payroll
- Inventory and purchasing
- Building strong rapport with guests
Requirements:
- Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Computer savvy, familiarity of Resy and Spot On is a plus
- DOH Food Handlers Certificate
- TIPs Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
- Able to work effectively with all department managers
- An interest in style, music, fashion, art, and/or or dining and nightlife (pertaining to NYC)
- Creative problem solver

Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
