What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Janitorial / Maintenance Technician position at The Rushmore Hotel?
Do you love the look of a clean space? We’re looking for an experienced janitor to fill a position on our team. You’ll keep our building impeccably clean, vacuum and mop floors, wash windows, empty trash, and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as needed, as well as potentially needing to cover shuttle bus runs. Compensation : 15 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Report areas cleaned and make sure managers know if major repairs are needed
- Make sure vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and emptying trash are completed daily
- Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
- Replace light bulbs, clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms on a regular basis as scheduled
- Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
- Knowledge of floor buffing equipment.
- Use a mobile app to manage and complete janitorial and maintenance work orders on a smartphone efficiently.
