Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tinter and PPF installer to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing vehicle aesthetics and functionality through high-quality window tinting and installing high-quality PPF. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various power tools while ensuring precision and care in every installation.
Duties
- Apply window tint film to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish and adherence to quality standards.
- Apply PPF (Clear Bra) film to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish and adherence to quality standards.
- Willing to travel for certifications and training annually if required.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during the tinting process.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to installation to assess needs and determine the best approach for tint application.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, providing assistance in auto body repair or auto glass replacement as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and products related to window tinting and automotive repair.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
Qualifications
- Must know how to use a cutting machine of any kind. Preferred if you know how to use the GraphTech 9000.
- Must know how to use cutting software of any kind. Preferred if you know how to use VinylFilm&Designs 4.0.
- Proficiency in window tinting techniques with experience in automotive applications preferred.
- Proficiency in paint protection film application.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively.
- Familiarity with auto body repair, auto glass installation, and automotive repair processes is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
- Experience in auto estimating is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
