Bartender Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Bartender Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Promote special events or drink promotions to enhance sales.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is required, particularly in a high-volume settings.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
- Excellent math skills for managing tabs and processing payments accurately.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with patrons
