Position Overview:
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our high-volume, fast-paced restaurant with passion, precision, and purpose. As a key leader on our team, you'll support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations while driving excellence in service, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
Lead and develop FOH and BOH teams, fostering a positive culture of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality.
Support scheduling, hiring, and training efforts to build a high-performing, guest-focused team.
Manage and optimize beverage and bar operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and compliance with standards.
Collaborate with department leads to improve processes, streamline service flow, and enhance the overall guest experience.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery with professionalism and grace.
Ensure proper inventory control, ordering, and cost management of supplies, ingredients, and equipment.
Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
Assist with marketing initiatives, special events, and promotions to drive revenue and brand visibility.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking alongside the GM.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment, at least 2 years at AGM level or above.
Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and lead large, diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
Strong working knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage management, and guest service excellence.
Hands-on experience in managing bar and beverage programs.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of financials, inventory, scheduling, and cost control.
Proficient in restaurant management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
