Licensed Insurance Agent/Customer Service Representative
The Ryan Agency seeks an individual who likes people, has a heart to serve others, and desires to be part of a team working well together in a fast-paced office environment.
Introduction:
We seek an Insurance Agent/Customer Service Representative who will work directly with clients who call or visit the agency.
The position to be filled will depend on the candidate’s background and experience.
The role could combine Customer Service Representative and insurance Agent Producer responsibilities. We are interested in people who want full-time employment.

The Ryan Agency is one of the largest and fastest-growing Independent Insurance Agencies in the tri-county area. We serve clients across New York and Pennsylvania but concentrate on our local footprint in Steuben, Allegany, and Livingston counties.

The Position:
The open position will, in part, be determined by the candidate’s experience and skill set. The currently open roles are Customer Service Rep/Inside Personal Lines Agent/Producer.
This job posting is for applicants with an active Property & Casualty License and previous insurance experience.
This is a full-time position. The pay level will be commensurate with the applicant's skill set, experience, and the role filled.

Computer/Technology Experience – Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute (we test for this) and know their way around a computer, web browser, and word processor.
Work Hours – 8:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.
Long-Term Commitment – You must desire a long-term employment commitment.
Reliable – Our clients and other team members must be able to count on you consistently.
The Location:
The position could end up working in any of our three locations:
Hornell NY - 57 Broadway
Jasper NY - 3832 St Rte 417
Wellsville, NY - 186 S. Main St.
Initial training will primarily occur at our Hornell office, located at 57 Broadway, Hornell, at the end of Broadway Mall.
