Job Description: The Ryan Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Contracts Manager to join our office in Norton, MA.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal contract reviews, ensuring Quanta Legal's involvement and approval.
- Oversee contract and subcontract insurance requirements, Parent Guarantee, and Letter of Credit needs.
- Design systems to monitor and preserve lien rights.
- Provide consultation on contracts and construction documents.
- Interface between Operations and Quanta Legal for contract negotiations.
- Monitor receivables aging for lien rights execution.
- Guide contract close-out processes and ensure proper subcontractor forms are used.
- Engage with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive handoff process.
- Ensure contracts comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct contract research, audits, modifications, and risk analysis.
Qualifications
- Proficient in public and private contract reviews, with a strong understanding of terms and conditions specific to the construction industry including engineering and balance of plant contracts.
- Experience with renewable energy contracts.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of business, financial, and management principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, as well as guide team performance to meet division goals.
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs.
- Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of contracting concepts and contract acquisition law and regulations are essential for any career in contract management.
Preferred Extras:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Accounting or Business Administration, or comparable experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $108,721.00 per year
