Responsibilities:
· Manage the conceptual and detailed design process for renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
· Ensure all designs adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL, and local permitting requirements).
· Provide technical guidance and support to the preconstruction team.
· Analyze and review project contracts to address specification conflicts and scheduling challenges.
· Assist in the preparation and development of project proposals and documentation.
· Lead engineering efforts throughout all project phases, including development, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as project managers, developers, construction teams, and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
· Coordinate with key stakeholders, including utilities, regulatory bodies, and contractors, to address technical requirements and interconnection processes.
· Foster a collaborative team environment to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
· Evaluate and recommend renewable energy technologies and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the executive team.
Job Requirements:
· 5 years of renewable energy engineering experience
· Strong knowledge of electrical site and civil construction
· Self-motivated
· Highly organized
· Full knowledge and understanding of contracts; general requirements, general conditions, plans, specs, addendums, etc.
· Ability to write proposals and complete estimates without guidance
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently and stay focused, as well as with a team
· Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe programs

Pay: $120,000.00 - $162,471.00 per year
