The Sagamore is looking for gift shop attendants to join our team! The Sagamore Resort offers to our guests both the Emporium gift shop in the Historic Hotel, and our Lake Store right off the water. We are looking for stand-out individuals who love interacting with our guests and enjoy a retail atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Greet guests, provide them with courteous service
· Answer questions concerning location, price & use of merchandise.
· Responsible for having gift shop open and operating at a predetermined time. (Lights on, products properly staged, and daily papers on display.)
· Keeps shelves, counters and table clean & orderly (clothing neatly folding, etc.)
· Cashier functions including accepting payments and making change
· Bags merchandise for guests, wraps as requested
· Keeps record of sales, removes cash at end of shift, and keeps an accurate bank at all times
· Responsible for mailing & shipping products ordered over the phone
· Rotate date-sensitive stock
· Assists supervisor in monthly and yearly inventory counts
· Must be available weekends and holidays
- Must be able able to lift up to 50lbs, bend,lift,and carry large
