The Sagamore Resort is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! At The Sagamore, this crucial position creates a clean and orderly environment for our guests.
The housekeeping supervisor works closely with the Executive housekeeper to manage rooms attendants, public space staff and houseman / runners.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong attention to detail.
They must be able to follow directions, work independently and enjoy guest interaction.
This applicant needs reliable transportation, flexible scheduling to include weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Train new staff to include proper making of beds, vacuuming and dusting, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, patio & balcony areas
- Inspect all rooms prior to arrival
- Inspect public space areas
- Monitor productivity and report on room attendant minutes
- Run room boards & assign locations to room attendant
- Clean rooms to assist team during periods of high occupancy
