What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Runner position at The Saint Dallas?
We are looking for a Weekend Runner to join our team at The Saint in Lower Gaston! The Saint experience focuses on fresh pasta, dry-aged steaks, and options for vegetarians and vegans.
What we are looking for:
- Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome.
- Communicate with expeditor or Chef to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and seat numbers. Describe all food accurately and answer any questions pertaining to items.
- Communicate any needs of the guest to servers, kitchen and management. Clear away any finished plates and maintain proper table cleanliness. Help support other areas of the FOH when time permits.
- Continuously polish all china and serving utensils, maintain cleanliness, organization of station, and service area.
- Perform assigned open and closing side-work.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior running experience in fine dining preferred.
- Passion for food, beverage and service.
- Candidates must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and communicate effectively.
- Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, must be able to work weekends, and holiday.
