We are currently hiring for Contract Coordinator near Bucks, AL.
What will you do as a Contract Coordinator?
- Collaborate with the System Owner to plan and coordinate maintenance activities for the assigned system.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Administer and oversee the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) process to ensure the safety of personnel during maintenance operations.
- Manage Confined Space Entry permits, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and proper documentation is maintained.
- Oversee the issuance and management of Open Hole permits, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete and maintain accurate shift reports, documenting all maintenance activities, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or compliance issues to the System Owner and relevant authorities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and plans.
- Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and other relevant activities to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
Who qualifies for the Contract Coordinator position?
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or safety certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the power generation or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, including LOTO, Confined Space Entry, and Open Hole permits.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
What hours will the Contract Coordinator work?
- Monday – Friday, standard business hours
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Contract position, 1 1/2 years, subject to change

- Starting pay is $32, based on experience
