Essential Responsibilities:
- Welcomes and settles campers for each session
- Educates on personal cleanliness, dress code, sun and insect protection
- Serves as an example of respect at all times
- Takes note of announcements
- Assists in teaching activities as needed
- Ensures proper rest for campers, encourages sleep and punctuality
- Led the cabin group on dining hall procedures, cabin cleanliness, meal cookouts, overnight camp outs, group activities and nightly devotions
- Serves as spotters at lakefront as needed
- Plans activities for the cabin group on rainy days unless otherwise programmed
- Checks out cabin group on each camp closing day
- Cleans and sanitizes showers, bathrooms, and dorm area daily
- Completes daily reports and shares concerns with Program Director or local leaders
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Previous experience working with children preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
- BASIC computer skills required
Certificates and Licenses:
- Complete Safe From Harm training and keep current
