What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian (Part-time) position at The Salvation Army Central Territory?
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and grounds upkeep of The Salvation Army facility in Fond du Lac. Provide basic maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting, checking and cleaning filters, snaking and cleaning drains.
About the role:
- Routine cleaning of all areas of facility following a regular schedule.
- Set-up rooms as required for all meetings.
- Receive and deliver goods/donations to proper place in building.
- Follow schedule for basic maintenance.
- Keep outside grounds and building clean and safe. Perform seasonal work such as snow shoveling, gardening and raking of leaves.
- Assist with seasonal programs.
- Assist with property upkeep at Quarters as needed.
- Provide supervisor with list of supplies to order related to building operation.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Certifications: Valid Wisconsin Driver's license with approval to drive from The Salvation Army's insurance carrier.
Experience: Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
