Position Summary : The review agent will verify funding criteria as required by grantors for customers seeking assistance. The review agent will work with the caseworkers to ensure correct documentation is on file and applicants are served expeditiously.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Manages shared email help desk, sending outstanding case reminders, responding to caseworker inquiries and providing support as needed
- Addresses and resolves customer needs regarding payment
- Oversees correct data entry, identifying areas for process improvement
- Determines payments to be made based on understanding of funding guidelines. Ensures payments are compliant with program requirements and goals
- Assists caseworkers with keeping up to date, accurate documentation, and notes patterns of concern
- Participates in meetings and other program activities as requested
- Maintains up to date, accurate files on all applications, including information on services provided and outcomes achieved
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education / Experience :
Associate's degree in accounting, psychology, business, or related field; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities1 or more years of experience in a professional settingUnderstanding of low-income populations (preferred)Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :
