Job Description
The Salvation Army Central Territory seeks a skilled professional to serve as our Safety Operations Manager. This key role is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our target range program, providing training and supervision to staff and campers.
About the Position
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 1 year of training and experience in target sports. As our Safety Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising Staff and Campers: Ensure the safe operation of the facility and program, complete staff training, and conduct daily facility and equipment checks for safety and cleanliness.
- Maintaining Course Records: Record and maintain accurate data on course usage and camper progress.
- Teaching Archery and Air Rifle Skills: Provide instruction and guidance on the use and maintenance of archery and air rifle equipment.
Requirements
- Education/Experience: A combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of training and experience in target sports, basic skills in Microsoft Office 365, knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint, and willingness to learn new software as needed.
- Certifications and Licenses: Completion of Safe From Harm training and current certification in TSAO Basic Archery Instructor and Basic Air Rifle Instructor.
