What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snack Shop Lead position at The Salvation Army Central Territory?
Position Summary: The Snack Shop Lead is responsible for all aspects of the camp snack shop.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff assigned to work at the snack shop
- Oversee stock rotation
- Teach and monitor proper use of equipment including daily checks for safety, cleanliness and use
- Maintain the bank of camper funds received at registration and redistribute at the end of camp as necessary
- Conduct inventory of supplies and submit requests to the Program Director for re-supply
- Assist in the kitchen during meal times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
- Willingness to learn new software as needed
Certificates and Licenses:
- Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
