BASIC PURPOSE
To Supervise Children 18 months to 5 years, provide guidance, educational and social emotional development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily planning and execution of all classroom and outdoor activities (lesson plan).
- Preparing a warm and safe environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing, which allows children to grow and explore, including setting up the physical environment to meet the changing needs of the children.
- Interacting with children and encouraging their involvement in activities.
- Establishing and maintaining good communication with parents daily.
- Supervising children in the bathroom.
- Mealtime and naptime duties, including setting up and cleaning after and after activities.
- Maintaining observation records daily on each child.
- Maintaining and building children’s working folders.
- Maintaining evidence of learning throughout the classroom.
- Provide appropriate and positive discipline to the child.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
This position requires the ability to remain at a keyboard or desk for periods of up to two hours with minimal interruptions. The ability to operate under stressful working conditions in a rapidly changing work environment with multiple priorities is required. The employee must occasionally lift or / or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to fill in for any subordinates jobs when necessary, which may require the employee to stand for up to 2 hours or more at a time; must be able to walk, run, reach, and grasp with hands and arms. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation.
