POSITION : Kitchen Helper / Inside Maintenance
DEPARTMENT : Camp Del Oro
SUPERVISOR : Head Cook
STATUS : On-Call hourly

BASIC PURPOSE : To maintain all assigned areas in a manner that presents a constant image of cleanliness, order and high health standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock, wash and store dishes, scrub pots and pans
- Maintain cleanliness of dish washing room and dish washing area, and of pots and pans area.
- Sweep kitchen floor after every meal.
- Maintain walk-in refrigerator as directed.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning as directed by Lead Cook.
- Lift heavy pans for cook and other assistance as needed.
- Empty garbage and replace can liners.
- Sweep and spot-mop dining room floor after each meal.
- Sweep and mop entire floor of kitchen and dining hall after the evening meal.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the mop area, trash area, and washer / dryer room.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen bathroom. Sweep and mop floor on last day.
- Assist the Camp Director and Lead Cooks with other duties as needed.
