DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Corps Officer & Kara Bray
SUPERVISES: No one
STATUS: Non Exempt
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday - 9:30 – 2:30
FUNCTION: Clean and maintain the building and grounds; doing minor repairs and assist with programs as listed below.
Responsibilities
DUTIES: Daily Duties:
Clean and maintain all designated areas according to daily assignments and instructions including but not limited to the following:
- All 7 Bathrooms.
- Kitchen and Dining areas.
- Offices, rooms, and closets.
- Outdoor trash pickup.
- Windows and doors.
- Stairs, carpets, tiles, and mats.
- Light fixtures.
- Remove garbage and replace the bags.
- Refrigerators and Freezers.
Assist with rooms preparations for programs and events.
Assist with loading and unloading of donations and equipment as needed.
Assist with the program’s food distribution as needed.
Assist with organizing and shelving donations and items as required.
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience in a similar position
- Ability to multi-task and complete duties
- Follow guidelines & procedures of The Salvation Army
