OVERVIEW :
The Shelter Manager is responsible for the operational management of administrative and program functions for the Harbor House Family Emergency Shelter.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Shelter Administration :
- Supervise all staff at Harbor House
- Oversee all aspects of management and administration of the shelter department
- Maintain a compliance manual in accordance to The Salvation Army Policy & Procedures for Social Service Programs
- Prepare schedules, time off requests, time records, and evaluate employee performances
- Attend weekly staff meetings in planning and implementing services on campus
- Assist in the hiring process
- Manage requisitions and office supplies inventory for Harbor House
- Submit weekly and monthly statistical reports
