Essential Functions (approximate Time Spent)
- Perform custodial duties to maintain organized and sanitary conditions in corps properties. (60%)
- Assist with routine maintenance on properties and equipment (e.g., HVAC, electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, power equipment). (15%)
- Load and unload food/donation deliveries. (10%)
- Perform minor repair work to maintain safety and within the scope of training/regulations. (5%)
- Assist with special/seasonal events, including room set up, etc. (5%)
- Maintain grounds, including lawn care and snow/ice removal. (5%)
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of custodial experience.
- Pass background checks.
- A valid driver’s license and meeting MVR requirements are preferred.
- Working knowledge of safe handling of equipment, chemicals, and materials regularly used in basic maintenance and custodial duties.
- Ability to perform some or all physical tasks including lifting, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and other custodial duties.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and databases.
- Regular physical work including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking, and standing.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and lift 100 pounds occasionally.
- Professional environment; not eligible for a remote-friendly work environment.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with colleagues.
