GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Presenting The Salvation Army Thrift Store as a great place to work and shop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a team player willing to try new ideas, be creative and motivated.
- Sort, price, and hang clothing as needed (Includes Pricing Bric & Brae and Stocking items)
- Learn and use cash register and credit card machine.
- Handle cash, make change and follow all cash handling policies to always safeguard cash.
- Clean and maintain the thrift store.
- Close or open thrift store when needed.
- Maintain good customer relations giving prompt and courteous assistance to all customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks at the store, when needed.
