Minimum Qualifications
Speaking, sitting, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, handling, fingering, climbing, and balancing. Hearing and visual acuity must be within normal limits. Lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Mathematical Skills: Must be able to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and apply concepts such as ratios and percentages in practical situations.
Performance Skills: Must be punctual, organized, self-motivated, flexible, and possess a desire to learn and assist those he/she interacts with.
Protect the Mission: Must complete the online course for this area and pass the Background Checks required by The Salvation Army for employment.

- High School diploma with three years’ experience in warehouse operations.
- Ability to carry out oral and written instructions with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to communicate with and direct others effectively.
- Ability to safely and accurately operate a fork truck.
- Acceptable criminal history record.
- Measure and report effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
- Effectively organize and process donated goods to be distributed.
- Responsible to maintain inventory of items necessary for production (bailing wire, gaylords, cardboard, etc.).
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
- Responsible to operate fork truck and maintain certifying credentials to do so.
- Attend staff meetings as required and stay informed of new policies and directives.
- Assist with the loss prevention program, reporting all incidents of loss to management in a timely manner.
- Report safety hazards; assist in the protection of property and buildings.
- Ensure security of the donation area, donation trailer, and the trash trailer.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
