JOB SUMMARY
The Divisional Assistant Senior Director of Advancement Services works closely with the Divisional Senior Director of Advancement Services to ensure the efficient operations of advancement services across the division. This individual focuses on data analysis, donor management, and process improvement to support the division's fundraising efforts and enhance donor relations. The Assistant Senior Director oversees the implementation of advancement initiatives, supports cross-departmental collaboration, and assists in mentoring the advancement services team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in analyzing and interpreting donor data to guide divisional strategies and provide insights to the Senior Director for decision-making.
- Monitor and maintain performance metrics, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Generate detailed and actionable income and impact reports to support fundraising campaigns and decision-making.
- Support the integration and optimization of donor data within advancement services to enhance engagement strategies.
- Assist with the creation of donor profiles using wealth screening and philanthropic data to support donor cultivation efforts.
- Work closely with the Donor Relations team to ensure proper donor recognition and care.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist in reconciling donor activity and financial records.
- Support the implementation of best practices in donor management under the guidance of the Senior Director.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational questions.
- Act as a representative of The Salvation Army in all external and internal interactions related this position, exemplifying the organization's mission, values, and commitment to serving the community.
