- Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor throughout the transaction with a donor, ensuring each donor is greeted and asked if they need assistance.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized donation area.
- Responsible for all operations and security matters while on duty, including safeguarding materials and tracking donations.
- Receive and receipt all donated materials from donors, including attempting to obtain an email address from as many donors as possible. Courteously advise donors of material which is not acceptable per Salvation Army policy.
- When applicable, sort donations as they come in.
- Sort, load, and unload all Salvation Army trucks per policy.
