Compensation Range : $24.11 / hour to $28.36 / hour, based on experience.

Job Objective :
The Finance Accounting Assistant is the primary individual responsible for the vendor payment process. This position shares responsibility with other Accounting Assistants and is also responsible for assisting the assigned General / Operating / Trust Accountant with accurate and timely maintenance and processing of accounts, certain bank reconciliations, 1099 process, journal entries, or other duties as required.
Essential Functions :
- Responsible for accurately recording, organizing and paying vendor invoices in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Assists the Operating Accountant in the completion of supplemental reports pertaining to the bank reconciliation process.
- Assists the General Fund Accountant in compiling reports, quarterly vendor reconciliation and participate as needed in the yearly 1099 process.
- Review and process all accounts receivable invoicing, both internally and externally, including maintaining an up-to-date statement review.
- Assist the respective accountant with account reconciliation and resolution by initiating correcting journal entries.
- Calculate and communicate investment earnings in compliance with the approved spending policy as requested.
- Assist with month end report production and distribution.
- Assist in Mailroom, according to the rotation schedule.
