Job Description :
As the Office Manager you will provide support to the Lafayette Corps ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.
What You Will Do :
- Assist with special projects or special events.
- Collect and enter all required statistics to into TSA statistic database. Assist with preparing monthly quarterly and annual reports, grants and Salvation Army stats.
- Assist with Development including scanning of donor checks, local deposits and acknowledge donors at the local level as appropriate.
- Assist with volunteer recruitment securing volunteers for the front office, pantry and special events.
- Track gift in kind and mileage reports.
- Maintain petty cash
- Sort and distribute office mail.
- Order office supplies for Corps as needed.
- In conjunction with Social Services Director and Envoy ensure volunteers are on-boarded appropriately.
- Contact all advisory board for meetings and other necessary information, assist with agenda preparation, assist with meal preparation, send all minutes to board members.
- Other duties as assigned by Corps Officer / Envoy
Minimum Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and / or abilities required for this position.
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent, associates or bachelors diploma preferred
Background Checks : Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed.
Experience : 3-5 years of non-profit office experience
Certifications : Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment
