Position OverviewWe're seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Manager to join our team. This live-in position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our rehabilitation program while ensuring a supportive environment for program beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the residential facility during 2nd shift
- Lead weekly house meetings and conduct new resident orientations
- Supervise and coordinate resident activities and work therapy assignments
- Ensure compliance with house rules and safety protocols
- Monitor medication administration according to established procedures
- Respond to and document incidents or emergencies
- Coordinate leisure activities both in-center and off-site
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily reports
- Provide safe transportation for residents as needed
- Support residents' recovery journey through consistent enforcement of program standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with ability to qualify for The Salvation Army insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Experience in residential management preferred
- Commitment to supporting The Salvation Army's mission
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds
- Standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility
- Manual dexterity for computer work
- Speaking, hearing, and vision capabilities
